The purpose of my research was to find out what is in makeup that could be a potential harm to makeup-users. From that research, I was able to research specific ingredients and what they do specifically to the body. The genres that are best for what I would want to do is a commercial, infographic, and a lab experiment. My audience would automatically be targeted to makeup users especially ones that use lipsticks. Some assumptions the audience might presume is what she really telling us is true? The makeup industry is really popular today and my audience might think that makeup have been approved FDA and they shouldn’t be worried about what could happen if wearing makeup. The way I will try to connect with my audience is engaging them. I wanted to put in a lab experiment as one of my genres because I didn’t want to just talk about it. I want to actually show it to them, to show them evidence or proof. People will probably won’t believe what you are saying but they are more likely to believe you if you actually demonstrate it. The best mode for saying what I’m saying is probably ethos. I want to actually persuade my audience into my direction, and to do so I must integrate my feelings and try to inflict it on there opinions. My favorite genre is the experiment. I am currently in chemistry lab class and I do experiments every week and it’s something I’m interested in.
